Christine, I’m very excited for you. I know this will be another fantastic book and I am waiting very patiently waiting!
Hello, Emily! You’re being very patient. (Not!) :)
Hmm. I wonder why I didn’t receive notification of this post in my email. Thanks for the deets on your new novel “Desert Orchid” Christine! Sounds like another hot one! :)
I think it’s because it’s not a blog post. It’s in pages. Should I have done a blog post and then put it into pages?? I don’t want to spam my blog followers. Am I being stupid? :)
Sounds good, Christine! And I love Coco’s cover! :)
Thank you, Stacey! You rock! :)
Wow…….I’ve read the first 3 books of Ludlow hall in as many days……just can’t put them down…..I’m going back online to find more…….you ROCK!
Thank you very much for taking the time to stop by and comment, Daphne! You’ve made my day!
I just stumbled on to your book run Rosie run in a 5 book set with Amazon.Hmmmm where to start. I guess at the beginning lol which I immediately did. I have purchased everything you have for sale on Amazon and you have not let me down in any of them. I love your characters, your writing style, the quality of your books, I have nothing negative to say. :)
After recently becoming a shut in ( what an appalling term, lets change that to one who can no longer get out much except to doctors appointments) I have read about a thousand books. You have the ability to take me away on a wonderful journey and turn a crappy day into a lovely day. I don’t want to read about fat ugly characters. I want to read about beautiful ones which you deliver with humor and humility. I eagerly await you next offerings. If I could pre-order I would. But the availability is not there. Thank you for all you do. I am a total fan of which I’m sure you have millions. Not a creepy, stalkers fan lol , just someone who is grateful for the journeys you take us on and allow us an escape from reality. Ok get to work now. . . Waiting on your next book
Oh. My. God, Susan.
What a lovely comment, thank you very much.
When I first started this fabulous journey my dream was to have a single reader reach out to me to say that my story had made her laugh and cry, that it had taken her out of her real life for a few hours. So when I read your comment I filled up and the screen is swimming in front of me as I type this.
You have seriously made my day!
I’m so sorry you’re dealing with health challenges - if my stories have brought a little sunlight into your day then my job is done.
At the moment I don’t have a pre-order facility. That’s something to work on next year. I’m thrilled you found me via the boxed set. I’ve found many new readers, which was the idea of us coming together in the first place.
You are most certainly not a creepy stalker, LOL! And I wish I did have millions of fans! I’m too new so the challenge is for me to get the word out there that the stories exist. Maybe one day there will be millions, now that would be crazy!
I’m putting the finishing touches to a Ludlow Hall Christmas Special starring all the usual suspects titled, ‘A Film-Star, A Baby, And A Proposal’ to keep fans happy until The Fall of Jacob Del Garda comes out at the end of January. And then A Daddy For Daisy, Josh and Janine’s story which will be out in late Spring. I’m also working on the next book as yet untitled. Then there will be an offshoot series called The Monroes about Coco’s brothers and cousins who are ex-military - having a lot of fun with those boys.
Desert Orchid is being expanded and re-written, hence the delay, I’ll keep everyone posted on how it’s coming along and it is going to be the first of series of Desert Princes books (I already have the outline of books 2&3 so I know where I’m going, she says.)
As you can see I’m busy.
Please feel free to reach out to me any time, Susan.
And thank you again.
How exciting and generous you are to respond now you have made my day. I don’t think really great authors such as yourself understand the impact of what you do. So while you are exhausted, having dishes pile up in the sink and your loved ones are ready to bop you one because you are working on that last chapter please know that people such as myself appreciate you so very much. Just this past week I had my first infusion and instead of totally freaking out I was like , start that thing, I’m reading Cocos story. Lol I eagerly await each new book I loved them all and my nurse started the first book on my old kindle while we waited for the infusion to finish. She said why haven’t I heard about her? (AS IF I WOULD KNOW Lol)
I have never written an author or left a review but I shall do so on Amazon . So Pease know you help so many people. Not trying to be Pitiful Pearl here or be depressing but I received a diagnosis 2 months ago that sucks. Your books bring me joy and take me away and remind me some of the most beautiful flowers grow from a pile of Crap! Lol
So live love laugh and get back to work. And Thanks Again
Thank you so much for the Ludlow Hall Christmas special. What a lovely gift for us readers.I left a review over on Amazon stating the obvious (It was awesome) and I eagerly await Jacobs story this month. Also very excited about Desert Orchid and I read that will be a series. I can’t wait!
Just had to tell you it was my favorite Christmas present. How thoughtful are you to care about the reader as I would buy everything you wrote anyway but I am feeling appreciated now. lol
So get busy Cinderella now I have read all your Vampire books and I am hooked on those now too. LOL
You make my days brighter and give me lovely things to look forward to. I hope something lovely happens for you this year to make you half as happy and you make your readers.
Thank you very much, Susan!
Am buried deep in edits/revisions. God knows when I’ll surface!
My sister and I absolutely love your books. Good job! Keep it up! Since December 2013, I have been stalking Amazon for Desert Orchid because I thought it said it was out. I eventually came to your website to see what the issue was. I’m glad to read that its coming out this month. Though, I am bummed out I have to wait till February for Jacob’s book (that’s the other book I was stalking on Amazon also). And if there is any way to move up the release date for “A daddy for daisy”, that would be excellent :)
Hi Lola!
Thank you so much for taking time to comment. Last year I had a couple of health issues that impacted my ability to write for about four months, hence the delays. Desert Orchid is being edited and when it goes ‘live’ I’ll let you know. Jacob’s story is being worked on as I write, and I’m hoping for an end of February publishing date, but that depends on my editors etc. A Daddy for Daisy is still in production. I’m also working on three short novels for a variety of projects in 2014, one of which I’ll be blogging about in the next few days. I’m also working on a new contemporary romance series called The Monroes about the Monroe family, Coco’s brothers and cousins.
Then I’m working on my paranormals. I’m re-writing and expanding the world building in The Vampyre Legal Chronicles and I hope to release them at the end of the year, barring incident.
I’m due for more surgery, which is a pain in the ass, and I don’t have a date for that either, so things might be a little bit up in the air and that’s why I can’t give you specific dates.
I just finished Desert orchid When is the next coming out. It was wonderful couldny put it down
Hi Terri,
Thank you so much for reaching out to me. And I’m thrilled you enjoyed the story. The next book will be out in Spring 2015.
